The
USDF Region 9 Youth Regional Team Championships North is held inside the Green Country Classic I and II. All USEF/USDF rules are followed. Saturday Team Competitors have an option to enter recognized or exihibition classes. All recognized levels and classes are offered. Also, in addition, exhibition freestyle and pair and quadrille classes are available just for fun and diversity. These classes are avaliable in addition to all the recognized classes on Saturday. Sunday the exhibition classes are dropped and all competitors in the Championships will show in recognized classes only.

The Competition is for competitors 21 and under. You are 21 in the year that you turn 21 for that whole calendar year. ( Or another way to say it is as per USEF rule GR101- Adult or Senior (Individual). a. For competition purposes, in the Dressage division, competitors shall compete as
Adults from the beginning of the calendar year in which they reach the age of 22. )

The Competition is held as a recognized show so some of the Saturday classes will be held as exhibition classes.  During exhibition classes riders may wear their team colors and the horses may have Twinkle Glitter on. In regular classes on Saturday and all classes on Sunday the Competition is held as recognized classes and you will have to wear "proper attire." There are specific rules for USDF/USEF recognized shows in the prize list. Arrival day for the 2 day show is Friday afternoon. An Adult should come with the team and if a child's parent or guardian is not with them please carry a medical release. Each team is asked to bring one non competitor Volunteer to work each day to help keep the show running (not mandatory)   The teams consist of 3 or 4 riders and a Horse Manager.   Exception : Fourth Level and up teams may have 2 riders on their team and a Horse Manager.
What is a Stable Manager:
We will ask each team at the Competitions to have a Stable Manager.  This team member is Optional. This person (21 or under) will be unmounted and will assist the team with care of the horses, keeping to schedule, decorating for the contests, basically keeping the team running smoothly.  He/she should have stamina, patience, courtesy, and horse and show knowledge. The stable manager helps the team to excel and is a valuable team member.  Stable Managers will be treated as part of the team, even though they do not enter the arena, and will receive the same team awards the whole team receives.

Sign up on showsecretary with the Region 9 regular forms and be sure to let the secretary know you wish to be stabled with your team.
You could be really efficient and fill out a Region 9 Team form and send it with your entry.
